UPDATE - It doesn’t seem they want to sign players – Cristiano Ronaldo worried about Man United

Manchester United superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo is now worried that the

club have been unable to sign a single player since the summer transfer window opened.

The club’s transfer strategy is now a growing concern for the Portugal international, who expected that by now two or three players have arrived at Old Trafford.

Manchester United finished last season on a very poor note and will not be in the Champions League next season.

New boss, Erik ten Hag has come to revamp the squad and has already identified several transfer targets, with Barcelona midfielder, Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen his two priorities.

The Red Devils are also chasing the likes of Julian Timber, Lisandro Martinez and Antony, all from Ajax.

But United have yet to secure their first summer signing, while Liverpool have already signed Darwin Nunez.

Manchester City have also completed their £51 million deal for Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal and Tottenham have also strengthened with new addition

Over the weekend, United’s chief executive, Richard Arnold insisted that the club’s finances are in place to bring De Jong to Old Trafford during a conversation with supporters.

But AS’ Manu Sainz, who is close to Jorge Mendes, said Ronaldo is ‘worried’ about Manchester United’s current situation and is concerned that their Premier League rivals are already pulling away with their new signings.

The report claims: “Ronaldo wants reinforcements at Manchester United, but so far it does not seem that the club is going to enforce the squad changes that he considers necessary.”
