Justin Bieber reignited the romance rumours after he posted an Instagram of him and Hailey Baldwin in San Francisco for Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.

By Monday, the 21-year-old pop star looked a trifle wilted while stepping out solo in Beverly Hills where temperatures hovered around 86 degrees Fahrenheit.

The black ensemble and the hot beverage he held probably raised the gauge a notch or two, and may not have been the perfect combination for a day such as this.

Justin emerged from the French bistro Bouchon wearing black cargo trousers with a long black T-shirt and black baseball cap, his light beige trainers the only deviating colour.

The What Do You Mean? crooner opted for hot coffee as opposed to the iced variety, and didn't waste time sipping the brew while strolling across the baking pavement.

Justin must have feeling the heat on this unseasonably warm day in Southern California, and perhaps was missing Hailey's companionship too.

Justin had made the impression that he and Hailey were over after he was seen hitting up the nightclubs in recent weeks including The Nice Guy in West Hollywood.

That is, until the Canadian singer posted that very telling Instagram shot.

Justin appeared to be playing it cool while posed next to Hailey amidst his entourage.

The two were standing side-by-side at Fort Mason Park in the Marina District of San Francisco, with the Golden Gate Bridge looming in the background.

Justin boarded a private jet to San Francisco on Saturday to enjoy the festivities surrounding Super Bowl 50 between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos.

The big game took place on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, more than 50 miles away from San Francisco and an hour and 20 minute drive.

Hailey, on the other hand, flew up separately on a commercial flight.

The pair revealed they were more than just friends after their hands-on holiday at St. Bart's over New Year's.
