BREAKING - Ronaldo in shock return to Man Utd as Man City pulls out of transfer negotiation

Cristiano Ronaldo is set for a shock return to Manchester United.

According to Italian football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City has decided to pull out of negotiations.

Romano tweeted: “Manchester City have decided to LEAVE negotiations for Cristiano Ronaldo.

“He’s NOT joining Manchester City – club position has been so clear in the last minutes.

“Important to clarify: personal terms have never been agreed, same fee for Juventus.”

Ronaldo spent six years at Old Trafford earlier in his career, winning three Premier League titles and the Champions League, before he left for Real Madrid.

“We’ve always had good communication. Bruno [Fernandes] has been talking to him as well and he knows what we feel about him. And if he was ever gonna move away from Juventus he knows we’re here,” United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, told a press conference on Friday.
