BRIEF - Erik ten Hag drops Man United star from his plan over lateness

Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has dropped one of his players from his

plans on the club’s pre-season tour after he twice turned up late to team meetings.

The former Ajax boss has shown some glimpse of new life at Old Trafford, with the players showing encouraging signs.

The Dutchman had made it clear in his new set of rules that lateness would be highly prohibited under his watch.

The Athletic now reports that one of the players twice turned up late for team meetings and was dropped from the Dutchman’s plans for a friendly in Australia.

Although the manager had planned to use the player for the match, he was punished by being left out completely.

The former Ajax boss places huge importance on punctuality and will not let standards slip in the way that they did under previous managers.
