GEORGE FLOYD’S LAST DAUGHTER WAGE WAR AGAINST KANYE WEST
The final daughter of George Floyd, her mother, and their legal team are getting ready to go to court.
War against Kanye West... publishing they'll sue him for $250,000,000 over recent remarks he made regarding Floyd's passing.
Roxie Washington, the mother of Floyd's only daughter Gianna, announced on Tuesday she's provide a team of lawyers to go after Ye, his business team and his associates for harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress. They're seeking $250 million in damages.
The family's lawyers also claim that they sent Kanye a cease and desist letter after his remarks on Floyd's tragic encounter with Minneapolis police. The letter was acquired by Onikewide.
Part of the letter reads: "The evidence revealed in courtrooms during the criminal and civil cases that followed Mr. Floyd's premature and horrifying death has established the cause of death with certainty. However, you have harmed Mr. Floyd's estate and his family with false and unsubstantiated statements that you have maliciously made.".
Kanye has received a lot of criticism for comments he made during a "Drink Champs" episode, in which he suggested that George died from a fentanyl overdose and pre-existing problems rather than from Derek Chauvin's knee to the neck.
The Floyd family says Kanye's statements are "blatantly false" and "malicious" ... and they say Gianna is being "retraumatized" by Kanye's comments, which they say are "creating an unsafe and unhealthy environment for her."
In the cease and desist, the family's lawyers demand Kanye remove the interview and all of his similar statements on George from the Internet and keep Floyd's name out of his mouth.
