Julius Berger tests streetlights of Second Niger Bridge

 J-B Nigeria Plc, the construction firm taking care of the Second Niger Bridge, has carried

out a practice of the illumination on the bridge, following the switching on of the streetlights.

Notice to the ex governor of Lagos State and Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, the over head bridge, which is in its last stage of construction, will soon be commissioned and opened to vehicular movement.

2nd Niger Bridge, a federal government plan, is being managed by the federal ministry of works and housing in collaboration with the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA).

Erection on the bridge began in September 2018.

The crossover spans from Asaba in Delta state to Ozubulu and Ogbaru areas in Anambra state.
