NEW Naira notes will be released by CBN in December

 New naira notes will be introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria before the year is through.

On December 15, 2022, the freshly redesigned Naira notes will be legal tender. 

This was revealed by CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele on Wednesday during a news conference. 

The N200, N500, and N1000 notes would be included in the new currency, according to Apex Bank's CEO. 

He asked Nigerians to exchange their old notes for fresh ones at their local banks.
