Ronaldo will be paid by Man Utd to leave after a disagreement with Ten Hag

Cristiano Ronaldo's contract with Manchester United is probably up in January.

In June 2023, the 37-year-current old's contract will expire.

United could choose to extend it by an additional year, although it is assumed that they won't.

Ronaldo was benched for Saturday's Premier League match against Chelsea after coming off the bench during Wednesday's 2-0 victory against Tottenham.

Ronaldo won't play for Manchester United against Chelsea on Saturday afternoon, according to Jonathan Liew's Guardian UK column.

"He was suspended for storming the tunnel on Wednesday against Tottenham after refusing to be a replacement.

According to rumors, United will make another effort to transfer him during the January transfer window and might even pay him to do so.

In the summer, Ronaldo tried to force a transfer away from Old Trafford but was unable to find a team willing to accept him.
