Ten Hag requests that Man Utd void Ronaldo's contract

According to the UK Sun, Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo "very probably" played his farewell game for the team.

According to reports, the 37-year-old stormed down the tunnel just before the final whistle on Wednesday after purportedly refusing to replace an injured player against Tottenham Hotspur.

He was benched by manager Erik ten Hag for this weekend's Premier League match against Chelsea as a result of his behavior.

Additionally, Ronaldo received a two-week salary penalties.

Ten Hag has "run out of patience" with Ronaldo and is "furious" with the Portugal captain.

Ronaldo's Manchester United contract could be terminated or he could be sold during the January transfer window, according to the former Ajax manager.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is under contract to United through June 2023, with a one-year extension option.
