Ronaldo reveals the real reason he turned down a move to Man City

Cristiano Ronaldo, a forward for Manchester United, has finally acknowledged that Sir Alex

Ferguson prevented him from moving to Manchester City.

The 37-year-old said in an interview with Piers Morgan that Ferguson informed him it would be "impossible" for him to join for their city rivals.

In the summer of 2021, Ronaldo was strongly connected with the Premier League champions, but he ultimately stayed at Old Trafford.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has now asserted that he made the right decision.

I went with my heart," Ronaldo stated.

I responded, "OK, Boss," when Ferguson told me it was impossible for me to visit Manchester City.

Due to illness, Ronaldo has missed United's last two games.
