Saudi Arabia defeats Messi-led Argentina 2-1 in the World Cup

 

Saudi Arabia defeated the Argentina national squad, which was captained by Lionel Messi. 

Lionel Messi gave Argentina the lead from the penalty spot in the 10th minute, and Lisandro Martinez believed he had added a second goal 19 minutes later, but the Video Assistant Referee rejected it (VAR). 

Saleh Al-Shekri tied the score in the 49th minute, and Dawsari gave the Arabians the lead in the 53rd minute to seal the victory. The Saudis entered the second half with a different attitude. 

One of the teams that is frequently predicted to win the Qatar World Cup in 2022 is Argentina.
