Veteran Nollywood actress Cynthia Okereke has passed away, filmmaker J.C. Okechukwu announced just

a short while ago on Twitter.

Rest in peace, Nwanyi oma, he captioned a photo of the 63-year-old actress who had passed away. I'm beyond words broken.

The filmmaker claims that Ms. Okereke passed away yesterday night while she was sleeping.

"One of the hardest things I've ever had to cope with in recent times is the fact that I was about to pay for your travel ticket to come finish what we started only to hear you left to be with Lord only last night. I hope I can bounce back from this shock. Actually, life is simply a mist. You may have it one moment, but not the next," he continued.
