UPDATE-Audrey Silva Company releases the first teaser for 'La Femme Anjola'

After completing work on the highly anticipated film by

Mildred Okwo, Audrey Silva Company released the first trailer on Friday, October 4, 2019.

The 1-minute long teaser of ‘La Femme Anjola’ has Rita Dominic appearing in more than five scenes. In some of the scenes, she appears to be a cold-hearted lady of the night. In other scenes, she’s enjoying a sizzling romance with Nonso Benson.

In another scene, Nonso Benson was playing to the sax to her delight half-naked while she dances softly to the tunes.

The neo-noir crime thriller which features Rita Dominic, Chris Iheuwa, and Nonso Bassey as main character tells the story of Anjola Kalu (Rita Dominic), the wife of night club owner Odera Kalu (Chris Iheuwa) who falls for a young Stockbroker and part-time sax player, Dejare Johnson (Nonso Bassey) and turns his world upside down.

Also featuring Femi Jacobs, Mumbi Maina, and Shawn Faqua, ‘La Femme Anjola’ which translates to ‘The Woman Anjola’ in English is written by Tunde Babalola.

The movie takes into consideration themes of Heroism and Villainy which is largely populated by the Film noir genre of Hollywood in the '40s and '50s but with a Nigerian twist.
